Yays for shippings
Leekeworld FINALLY got back to me after I've waiting not only a month and a half for my order but waiting over a week to get a reply about my status. My Cliffe head is on the way. I am still really hoping it works out for Kazuhiko... I want it to work very badly. And since I ordered during event I should have some random wig in that order as well. Yay for random wig.

I put in my dollmore order this morning and iris0110 and [info]reddeath1888 both jumped on cheapening the shipping. So whenever this ships [info]xxalicechanxx I will have your missing glasses from before. On that order I'm getting some shoes, a new dress set for Kitsu, and finally another string puller, and some socks. So Ryu will get to have some socks now. I need to find some really good stretchy material and make dolly socks... they're really easy and the ones I was working on before turned out well with the exception that that material was just not stretchy enough.

And Britt shipped Hue yesterday and I shipped her El. It was funny to find out that for both of us it cost $25.25 to ship each doll. It was just really funny that it was the exact same price. I can't wait to get him which should theoretically be as early as tomorrow, or at the latest Friday. I'm VERY excited.

[info]fullmetalsqishy has found out from the postal clerk yesterday what is going on with his package. Apparently with the olympics going on there is just so much crap people are sending here from Beijing that US customs in LA is getting overflooded. Also becuase of the mass amounts of mail traffic we are to presume the box got held up a day or two in Beijing. But becuase of the overflow any packages arriving in LA after a certain time of the day are getting re-reouted to San Francisco, and the SF customs office is much smaller and it might take 1-3 days for the box to even clear customs. Heres hoping the leekeorder arrives early enough not to get re-routed to overflow. But still it's very aggrivating after spending over $100 for the box to ship EMS and having it take like 6 days now.... ems is 3-5 days... Poor L, he's got these clothing sets all layed out for his new boys and we still have no clue when they'll be here. They were still in SF when I checked this morning.

And I've officially bought wigs from doa peoples so that's something else to wait on. I found a decent looking one to serve as Kaoru's (hue) stand in wig while I wait to make an order from crobidoll. And I found Aya something cute and pink.... I have no idea what the boy is going to wear now, but i think I wanna put him in lots of white clothing to set off the pink hair... but I honestly don't want to put him in pink clothes... he's already girly enough having a brown super short boy cut wig... imagine him in long and pink... boy's got to keep some dignity.

Also on a faceup note, I believe I STRONGLY LOVE MSC UV-cut! It has a nice smooth texture and this morning as I was cleaning off [info]mienaihane's Juri head since ther was a mishap with the on going faceup we started this weekend, it sure does keep stuff on. I was scrubbing even. And on note of that head, I have to shake my head at whoever did the original faceup.... Too dark of colors in too tiny of places to be removed from and whatever they used on the lips yellowed them horribly. I'm hoping [info]mienaihane I might can talk you into letting me paint the teeth cuase it's gonna look horribly yucky and dark back there if they aren't painted. I can try it and cover it in pastel if you don't like it. But yah. Now if it will just stop raining here I would love to get restart on it.... It seriously feels like it's rainy season here instead of in asia right now.

The SEME or UKE Quiz
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as The Breaker SEME

You are the most imaginative, helpful, and strong-hearted SEME out there. You can be quiet and helpful at the same time which is a rarity. You're good at listening to others and you don't deny their ideas. One thing you can't stand is seeing someone sad, crying, or otherwise unhappy. Those who think you're shy aren't always the most right but it's true you don't need to talk much unless you have something important to say. You would be paired with the Sorrowful UKE because everyone needs a shoulder to cry on and you're just the guy/gal for the job. It's best to avoid the Homicidal SEME but even if you do that it's easy for someone as calm and helpful as you to get mixed up in the schemes of the certain Devilish UKE. You are truly best placed with the Gentle SEME as a buddy. For my last info, I have to say that you really don't mind and will go with the flow - whatever your partner is into is fine by you but considering who you're best matched with I'd say that they'd be too scared to do anything out of the ordinary. Give them a little nudge to let 'em know it's alright, okay?

The handsome Man of my resin household
I am still playing around with angles on Ajeet.  He is just so hard to capture in photos for some reason.  I love this boy and the UH-08 sculpt so much, and I always feel like my photos are never able to translate what is so captivating about it to me.  I think I am getting closer though . . .

I've been thinking for a while that I might change his face-up, but I wanted to try new eyes with him first and see if it made any difference.  He got his Ruddy Peach Violet with Purple Pupil eyes yesterday, and I think they look fabulous!  Because his eyewells are so deep, it's kind of difficult to capture them, but to me they made a big difference- I feel like I've fallen in love with Ajeet all over again <3

I left him on my bed after putting his eyes in and my sister said he scared the crap out of her when she walked into my room XD  hehehe!  I hardly ever leave my dolls out so I think people forget about them.  She must have thought a little gremlin was sitting on my bed.

Of Waiting...
Everyone knows how much I freakin hate waiting but some of it's aggrivating...
Inbound:
Leekeworld cliffe: I'm honestly getting a little pissed about this one because it's been about a month and a half. I'm blaming the wigs of course. I ordered one and then L asked me to add one to the order for one of his new boys... It's not that it's taking so long that is annoying me. It is the fact that I posted a message on the q&a board a week ago sunday and have still not received a reply. I know they recently had a holiday and all but I asked before the holiday... I'm sadly not as excited anymore and I've seen the few that people in the waiting room have gotten and I'm kind of not 100% he's gonna work for what I want but I think I have to see him for myself to be sure.

squishy's doll project order: Holy craps it as shipped out of Beijing last thursday and it finally got to customs today. Friday night the tracking said it had made it to customs and then saturday morning reverted back to foreign acceptance. He's been so bummed about it. He was for sure since they didn't arrive over the weekend they'd be here yesterday so before I got home from work he changed his dolls and layed out clothes for the two new boys... but alas they did not arrive and will theoretically arrive tomorrow. Longest EMS shipping I've ever had to wait for...

And also a little bit on waiting but not really waiting yet. I'm finishing up getting Takanori's box packed and the girl I'm trading with said she'll go ahead and ship Hue out today too. So guess who's gonna have a new dolly and finally after so long a complete withi house couple by the end of the week. Yup yup it's true. I'm just aggrivated that he won't have his correct hair.... And it sucks cuase I don't have any spare brown wigs laying around unless I just wanna swap Naganai's for a while.... blast the damn person who bought the wig from the girl cause she had the doll with extras or split prices and someone bought the wig that was the perfect color for Kaoru... but oh well... New dollie fever strikes again for this week X3

And something I'm sure some will be happy about... I've taken Aya off sale this morning... I am going to attempt an image change on him since part of his selling point for me was that he's just never looked quite right.... I remember how much I loved him and how cute he was the one day I popped Alice's pink wig on him, and I saw this really cute pink/white mix wig on market place for fairly cheap so I think I wanna try something new with him... going to attempt not to cross dress him, but he will not be the same Aya as before ^_^

The SEME or UKE Quiz
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as The Devilish UKE

You are by far the toughest UKE out there and possibly the most insane. Most people call you a smart-ass or a jerk but just because you get them mad at you doesn't mean you want to hurt them. There is something inside of you that hates to hurt people but the excitement is just too good to waste. Some think you're funny and others think you don't know when to quit but then again you don't really give a damn. You are a fan of comedy and comedians but only because they have the same mind that you do and they speak it so easily. If you are such a person then congratulations, the stinging whip of a Homicidal SEME may do you some good and teach you a lesson.. or make you want the punishment even more, whichever works best. Most SEME can't handle you so it's best to not scare them half to death. Most of any other UKE would befriend you in an instant if you would stop pulling tricks on them. To wrap up your description I sha'll say that you can handle anything. Any kink, and position, any ANYTHING. All you really care about is getting the punishment - some may call it masochism but you just call it heaven.

Monster Mondays: Chupacabra

4 ft chupacabra 2, originally uploaded by Boju. This is a prop chupacabra I built for a freak show.

As part of the Dapper Cadaver Blog's Monster Mondays project today I bring you another cryptid on the brink of being real - The Chupacabra, or in Spanish, El Chupacabra.

The Chupcabra has only been with us a little over 10 years, being named in Puerto Rico in 1995. It was described as a reptilian or alien looking bipedal creature with huge eyes, a round head, and spikes down it's back. But the Puerto Rican Chupe bears little resemblance to the globe trotting hairless vampire dog thats been seen from Chile to Maine, and even Russia. Our Chupacabra haunts mostly Mexico and Texas, where its described as a hairless kangaroo-dog with spikes down it's back, or just an ugly wrinkled hairless dog, with a huge muzzle, and saber-like fangs. They can travel by running or hopping. I wonder if the hopping may be due to injury or disease? From the Russian Chupacabra of 2006 "“It’s definitely a chupacabra! It has small front and large hind paws. To begin with the animal was walking on four legs, stood on its hind legs at the water, lifting up its long tail, and then started jumping like a kangaroo,” he says. In May Dmitry is determined to seek out the Russian chupacabra along with colleagues from the Ural Ufology Monitoring Station."

In Texas multiple corpses have been recovered, centered around Cuero Texas, and most recently a video of a Chupe running down the street looking a lot like a mexican hairless. DNA evidence shows it to be closely related to, or a diseased, domestic dog or coyote.

If we drop the name Chupacabra from this tale, which is a completely different looking Puerto Rican monster that also sucks the blood of livestock, then the story gets older, and more interesting. The earliest "Chupacabra" attack I could find is in England nearly 200 years ago.

It goes something like this - "In the month of May, 1810, something appeared at Ennerdale, near the border of England and Scotland, and killed sheep, not devouring them, sometimes seven or eight of them in a night, but biting into the jugular vein and sucking the blood....Upon the 12th of September, someone saw a dog in a cornfield, and shot it. It is said that this dog was the marauder, and that with its death the killing of sheep stopped" -Charles Fort

Charles Fort then recounts of another Vampire Dog attack in Ireland in 1847, likening them to vampire bats, but finding it difficult to believe dogs can be vampires. As with the Chupacabra, the livestock was killed and drained of blood, but the body left in tact. When giant canine tracks were discovered near the kill sites, locals began shooting stray dogs on sight. During this wave of attacks several people were attacked an bitten by the vampire dogs, and suffered strange symptoms and madness.

For the next 200 years, vampire dog attacks have sporadically appeared. Like today's Chupacabra attacks, the vampire dog attacks come in waves. They're devastating at the time, often taking dozens of livestock and whipping people into a panic, but the soon halt. Whatever is going on, it's clear we're not dealing with a species that feeds on blood to survive generation after generation. Could we be dealing with a mutant? A disease? A madness? Malnutrition? The Supernatural? Could something be driving otherwise normal canines to become vampires?

Here's one of the Texas Chupe specimens. It's DNA showed it was most likely a coyote, but the muzzle is much thicker and the canine fangs are much longer. While mange may explain hair loss, something else would need to explain the changes to this "coyotes" teeth and snout.

sinuses are still acting up today ._.

there was a thunderstorm yesterday (amazing, since we seriously NEVER have them up here). it was really pathetic compared to what most people consider to be a thunderstorm. just some rain and thunder a couple of times. but there was an amazing rainbow afterwards, stretching over our neighborhood. it was perfectly visible from one end to the other, very bright, and there was a faint 2nd rainbow above it.

i think the pressure from the weather is what had me feeling pretty muggy for most of yesterday. then throw in the dust from cleaning (mainly the ceiling fan) and all of the candles that were going... i guess it's not a surprise. it's not like i ever have problems with allergies or anything, but ugh, i'm definitely feeling like crap, but i don't feel like i'm actually sick at all.

jamie is flying down tonight to visit until thursday :D

and cori leaves tomorrow ._.

i had planned on getting a bunch of stuff done today, face-ups and pictures, etc... but man... my eyes feel permanently glazed over, and it feels like somebody jammed their fingers up my nose. i took some benadryl but i'm not sure whether or not it's helping. :/

i keep forgetting to mention, i entered buttons in pipos's customization competition :3

This is getting out of hand.
To be honest, I think the issue with [info]gwendolinh has gone to far too, she doesn't deserve to be alienated regardless of what she's done. It's entirely unjust to take the hobby she enjoys away from her by simply freezing her out of it. I haven't said anything up until now because I'm a coward, I've gone along with the mob mentality. It's gone beyond "giving her what she deserves" it's gotten to destroying her as a person. This is utterly unjust. It's one thing to get someone to make amends for what they have done and another completely to exact revenge by picking her apart and pushing her away.
I've been too afraid to stand up because I fear that I too could be alienated, if to be included I have to push some one else out, I'd rather be stuck outside with them.

Apparently, they've found big foot and thats his body. Say what!? Okay I just heard that DNA testing proved them wrong but still, what do you guys think?

of my morning....
I spent the morning packing some boxes. I packed Takanori away wrapped in TONS of bubblewrap waiting to get his box completely packed when I get the address for the girl I'm trading with.

I also packed a box full of old tshirts.. I had some old tshirts that are pretty much for the donate bin, but a lot of them had desings and stuff on them like harry potter and other such things so I was thinking "hey diverse designs uses old tshirts for some of thier clothes" so i PMed them with some pics asking them if they would like them, becuase I'd rather give them to someone I know that can use them than to donate them to oblivion. So I packed a box of shirts for Diverse Designs and they said they will make me a shirt, or if I see one I like in the next update send it to me for free. They have been very kind to me in the past and even sent me extra stuff, so that is why I was thinking of them in the first place, and yay I gets a shirt out of it.

But alas now it is time to head to work so I must be off and hopefully when I get back tonight I can give that juri head I've been comissioned for a better cleaning than what I was able to at the meet this last weekend.....

5 days since an update?
x.x Gah.  Short and sweet as I am getting tired for some reason.  Probably the music.  ^^

Went to a wedding Sat, more about that later.  Major do NOTs happened and it was a pain in the butt for the guest, which you do not do.  -.- *siiigh*

Other than that, not much has been happening.  Just made some more jewelry, made koo-bear VERY happy because he now has a charm.  ^^  and a choker thing.

Pics later ^^

WAnt to make a circlet for Heru.  We'll see if I can get to it.  Need to pick up the room a little from what's managed to gather tomorrow and clean my car badly.  ^^ So, we'll see.

Off to beeed!  (And I woke up at 6 pm today -.-)

Edit: Dude, Mother's Love the song totally will send you into sleepy land, but I think it's secretly trying to kill me.  >.> Half of the song has this high pitched beeping noise in the background probably from the computer, but it's like training you to sleep through a far away smoke alarm.  x.x I'm going to die in a fire.  >.< damn you pretty song!

I is getting HUE!
First thing's first [info]anchor_and_rose & [info]blakniteludlam I'm sorry because I know the two of you expressed intrest in my el, but I found a good acquaintance wanting to sell or trade a hue and she very much liked him so we're making an even trade out for dolls we were both wanting.

Yes it is official, Takanori is getting packed up tomorrow and being sent to a new home and Kaoru will be joining the house soon. I'm going to miss him, but I honestly feel I was really truely only attatched to them becuase I was there for his arrival when he came home to his first owner. It's been great fun having him here and he will be missed, but Kaoru will really make another one of my boys very happy where as Takanori doesn't have anyone planned that will do so for him....

And as I'm selling Aya as well I'm trying to decide what is to become of Naganai... For those who wanna try to get sad, sorry but no way in hell I'm selling my Iz head... I <3 the sculpt too much but nobody get surprised if he gets some fabulous make over becuase without anyone else from the society lurking about it's kinda weird having him around, though I have the feeling I will not change his name, just his look...

That is all for tonight... it is bed time... maybe I'll work on those pics from yesterday tomorrow morning before I leave for work.
